A-League Grand Final preview
The biggest day in Australian football is finally here. After a long and arduous A-League season Melbourne host Adelaide in the Grand Final tomorrow. This rivalry is as big as, if not bigger than the Sydney FC V Melbourne rivalry, and no matter what happens, this Grand Final is bound to be a fiery encounter. The news is that Melbourne are the hot favourites, and rightly so, but Adelaide are more than capable of putting up a great contest. (more…)

Beckham must stay in Milan
Well, what a start it has been to Beckham’s loan spell in Milan! He’s already scored two goals and captured the imagination of the Milan faithful. It seems that the bigger leagues in Europe have brought the best out of Beckham, and now he is torn between making his ‘dream’ move to Milan and honouring his contract with Los Angeles Galaxy. To me the decision is easy, staying in Milan is the only way for Beckham. (more…)

Why I think the Club World Cup is a waste of time
We recently saw Manchester United become “world champions” by winning the FIFA Club World Cup. I’d like to congratulate them on achieving this feat, but with all due respect does the winner of this tournament really achieve much? Does the Club World Cup really have the kudos as the name suggests? I hardly think so.
